Who’s behind TRA
Ray didn’t just grow up loving fashion
— she lived and breathed it.
As a little girl, she was cutting up ruffle socks to design dresses for her dolls. Her looks were curated before she even knew the word. Every detail mattered — her hair, her outfit, her presence. Fashion wasn’t just something she wore.
It was a feeling. A statement. A language.
Her mom kept up with every trend. Her dad? A master thrifter who knew how to stretch a dollar. At first, Ray hated secondhand shopping — it brought her to tears. But over time, she found her magic in it. She learned to mix vintage with new, timeless with bold. She turned thrift-store finds into moments.
Effortless. Eclectic. Electric.
That’s her style.
The name The Ray Affect is deeply personal. “Ray” was her mom’s nickname for her. And “Affect”? That’s what she does — she inspires, shifts energy, and leaves an impression.
She launched The Ray Affect in 2018, but in 2025, everything changed. She stopped playing small and went all in. Now, she curates bold, elevated drops of advanced contemporary pieces — intentionally chosen for those who don’t just wear fashion
— they lead with it.
This isn’t for everyone.
It’s for the ones who move with purpose, lead with style, and shift the room without saying a word.
